At Renfrew-Collingwood Seniors’ Society, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life of seniors and ageing adults in our community through connection, care, programs, and support. We are currently seeking compassionate, community-minded individuals to join our Board of Directors and help guide the future of our organization. These are volunteer positions and are not paid.

Why serve on our board?

Board members play an important role in providing governance, strategic direction, and community leadership for our society. By joining the board, you can help support programs and services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and caregivers in the Renfrew-Collingwood community.

We are looking for people who:

  • Care about seniors’ well-being, dignity, and inclusion.

  • Believe in strong, community-based non-profit services.

  • Can contribute time, good judgment, and a collaborative approach to decision-making.

  • Bring experience in areas such as governance, finance, legal, health care, community services, fundraising, human resources, communications, or lived community experience.

What board members do

  • Attend regular board meetings.

  • Provide oversight and strategic guidance.

  • Support the mission, vision, and long-term sustainability of the organization.

  • Act as ambassadors for Renfrew-Collingwood Seniors’ Society in the community.
